Bronze Powders Technical Description

Bronze powders are manufactured by water-atomising or air-atomising. In addition, we can offer Dendritic Bronze Powders via a sinter-diffusion bonding route to give irregular, spherical and dendritic morphologies respectively. Properties and, therefore, uses vary with particle shape / size / surface area, composition and by carefully selecting the correct grade, bronze powders find applications in diverse markets and technologies.

• Available in a variety of standard packaging options including 25kg sacks, steel drums (50-100kg) and Big Bags (250, 500, 1000kg).

Usage & Application

Bronze powders are used in very many applications, markets and technologies by virtue of the diverse range of physico-chemical properties. Typical applications include pressed and sintered components, bearings and bushings, steel-backed bearings (bi-metal strip), friction parts, filters, bronze-filled PTFE for hydraulic seals, surface engineering, decorative, welding and brazing, diamond tooling, etc.
